A GOLD Reward for Going Green
Logden Lodge is proud to have been awarded and continues to carry the highest obtainable rating, GOLD, from Green Tourism Canada, one of the world's leading rating agencies in the hospitality industry,
The rating followed an extensive review of our past and present policies, objectives and practices based on over 100 different criteria divided over 11 categories, including green management, energy, water, waste, nature & culture and innovation.
As of May 2016, Logden Lodge joined 12 other hotel/lodges operating in Canada at Green Tourism Canada's Gold standard and stands as the sole gold-rated hotel in BC's Central Kootenay region. Once in two years Green Tourism Canada reviews its given rewards. In May 2018 we received again the highest rating.

Although we are naturally very pleased with this latest recognition of our efforts, it certainly won't prompt us to rest on our laurels. Rather, we look at it as an encouraging incentive to step up our efforts and continue to improve. Going green is a lifelong journey, one we hope proves inspirational to all, first & foremost our guests!
